Dancing in Circles is an ancient tradition common to many cultures for marking special occasions, strengthening community and encouraging togetherness.  We will dance dances from many countries, including Balkans, Greece, Israel and Russia, but also dances that may have been recently choreographed to classical music or modern music from around the world.  The dances can be gentle and reflective or energetic and lively, but always fun.  The aim is to experience the joy of dancing together.  No previous experience is required as all the dances are taught and no partner is needed.  Come along in loose comfortable clothing and either dance in bare feet or soft flat shoes.
